8-Day Saigon – Mekong Delta – Phu Quoc Island

 Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival  

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Free time to enjoy and explore the city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta  

After having breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up and we start driving from Saigon through rice paddies and small villages to My Tho (70km ~ 1.5 hours), Stop for half hours to visit Vinh Trang pagoda –one of the most beautiful and famous landmarks in the region

Up on your arrival, start boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation, Honey Bee farm and try special hot tea from the farm.

After feasting on a delicious lunch, we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi tunnel 

8:00 AM: Depart for Cu Chi tunnels. It will take you approximately one and a half hours to get this destination by bus. Along the way (before exploring the tunnels), you will watch an introductory video to get the overview of how the tunnels were built and how the people survived from the harsh conditions of the war time.

Right after reaching Cu Chi tunnels, spend your time on exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which consist of the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Moreover, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Especially, taste special tea and cassava (guerillas’ food during the war). Break time for relax or time for those who want to try their hand at the real shooting gun. Then in the afternoon, you are going back to Ho Chi Minh City for relax or shopping and overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh  to Phu Quoc

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tan Son Nhat Airport to take the flight to Phu Quoc Island. Upon arrival, our driver picks you up and transfer to hotel. You will be free after checking-in.

Day 5: Phu Quoc – Full day boat trip exploring 3 Islands Tour 

This full-day tour of 3 islands in the An Thoi archipelago offers a relaxing and peaceful day out on the water. At Mong Tay Island you can swim and then sunbathe in the warm sun. Gam Ghi island has coral reefs where you can snorkel alongside colorful tropical fish. More snorkeling or even scuba diving can be enjoyed at May Rut Island, or just wander along the lovely beach.

Free day on Phu Quoc Island until our driver takes you to the airport for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh and other driver at Tan Son Nhat Airport will pick you up and transfer you to hotel. You will be free later on.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh  Departure
