Bac Ha Sundays market hosts is the biggest fair in the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border. It is a trading centre and meeting place for couples, friends, and relatives, and it is a typical weekly activity for the H’Mong and other minority groups living in the locality. Local products for sale or barter are carried on horseback. At the fair, adventurous gastronomes can try Thang Co blood porridge, a popular dish of the H’Mong and other local people.

Night 1: Our tour guide will pick you up and take you to train station for night train to Sapa

Day 1: Sapa Arrival – Trek Lao Chai & Ta Van Village. 

Arrive at Lao Cai Train station,  Asia Eyes Travel’s driver picks you up and drive (38kms) to Sapa.

Having breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to visit the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van – Home of  H’Mong, Dao, Zay minority groups.

Feel free to trek through awesome road along rice terrace fields and passing through the villages with soil and land roads to reach Lao Chai village and continue to Ta Van village.
Have some fun while meeting and talking to local minority people en route
Home stay at stilt house of a hill tribe family in Ta Van village, get more of their culture and customs. Also, you will just love to enjoy their nightlife and share experiences with them.
Finally, have some dinner with the family and taste their local foods. Overnight in village.

Day 2: Trek To Giang Ta Chai village – Sapa

Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast at the family and take the road to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests.
Early afternoon, get back to Sapa by Car/Van. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings.
Check in hotel. and your free time to explore the corners of Sapa town.

Day 3: Visit Bac Ha Sunday Markets and Night train to Hanoi

Today you’re going to leave Sapa town and return to Lao Cai ahead to Bac Ha town where you have a full day to experience Bac Ha Sundays market. What’s so special? Well. That is your chance to discover and get more knowledge of tribe groups in Sapa and surroundings. Interesting, huh?

You will be driving through one-of-a-kind sceneries of mountain and meeting local people on the way.
You will be visiting the biggest and the most original minority market in the highland and enjoy their cultures, customs and the way they exchange their goods.

In the afternoon, you will go back to Lao Cai and get on the night train to Ha Noi. Spending night on the train.
Arrive Hanoi around 5:30 AM.
