Breakfast and then you will be transferred to the airport to catch a scheduled flight to Bagan. Upon arrival you are met by a local tour guide and you will be privately transferred to hotel. You will be at leisure for the remainder of morning. This afternoon is spent with a comprehensive cultural tour to see Bagan's historic temples and highlights. The excursion begins with a visit to Tayoke Pyay Temple. You will be taken to visit temples around Minthu village including Thamanpaya, Thambula and Payathonzu.Next, visit the most beautiful temple in the region, the Ananda Temple. It is the largest, best preserved and most revered of all the temples in Bagan and it is believed that the temple was built around 1105 by King Kyanzittha. You will continue the exploration with a visit temples and pagodas nearby Ananda Temple. End the day viewing the sunset over the plains and temples of Pagan from one of the smaller temples to avoid crowds. Back to the hotel and you will spend your evening relaxing. Overnight at hotel.
Optional Baloon Over Bagan: Early wake up and you will be picked up from your hotel between 5:30 am and 6:00 am, and taken to the launch site where tea and coffee is served while the crew prepare the balloons. Watching the inflation of the balloon and experiencing lift-off is spectacular. The balloon ride starts at dawn and lasts for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. On landing, you will be served a light champagne breakfast before transferring back to the hotel at approximately 8:30 am. Warm clothing is recommended, as it can be quite chilly. Back to hotel to relax for a while.
Tour of Bagan continues with another excursion begins with a visit to Nyaung U market, before continuing to Shwezigon Pagoda, which was built as the most important religious shrine. You will then visit Hnget Pyit Taung, a hillock on which a pagoda built by King Pyusawhti stands. The tour ends at Lawkananda Pagoda which is located close to New Pagan Township. Lawkananda pagoda was built by King Anawrahta during his reign in 1059 on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. It is believed the Buddha's tooth relic is enshrined inside the pagoda and it is still used as an everyday place of worship. Return to your hotel and you will spend your evening at leisure. Board the ship at Koe Lone Ye Kin Jetty in Bagan at 10:30 AM and cast off 11:00 AM. Welcome cocktail and Lunch. We cruise upstream all day. Stop at River village for a walk. Dinner followed by a Puppet Show on the sundeck.
In the morning we arrive at Yandabo, a picturesque river village specializing in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war signed on Feb. 24, 1826. We go ashore for a walking at some pot-making workshops and visit the monastery. We cruise upstream the rest of the day, moor overnight near Myin Mu.
Early morning drive by coach (approx. 1 ½ hours) to Monywa to visit the Hpowindaung cave where hundreds of Buddha Statues are placed inside niches decorated with wonderful mural paintings dated back .Serve Lunch at local restaurant in Win Unity Hotel in Monywa. After lunch we visit the splendid Sambuddhai Kat Kyaw pagoda with its more than 500,000 Buddha images. Drive back to Myin Mu and Overnight night at River bank.
Breakfast served on board. Visit Ava by horse-cart visiting the beautiful 200 year old teak Bagaya Kyaung Monastery, Nanmyin watchtower (27mt. high) and the Me Nu Ok Kyaung monastery. Return to ship & sailing to Sagaing. Disembark at noon and privately transferred to hotel in Mandalay. Checking into your accommodation and remainder of the day is spent at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Today you will pay a visit to the Mahagandayon monastery which comes alive very early in the morning with the glorious scene of monks getting ready to start the day: the monastery is always peaceful and quite, Mahamuni Temple, Golden Palace Monastery. Afternoon, drive to Amarapura, was once known as 'The City of Immortals'. Today, the leisurely 'clack-clack' from the looms of the cotton and silk weavers has replaced the noisy bustle of this former capital. Visit the U Bein Bridge, a spectacular place to enjoy the sunset. This long teak bridge snakes across the Taungthaman Lake. After sunset, return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
