7 Days/6 Nights Best North Vietnam Cultural Tour

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau

8:00 AM: Our driver and tour guide will meet you at hotel and transfer you to Mai Chau (150km).
This is private tour, you will have many stops for taking photos. You will visit Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant in Hoa Binh City. After visiting Hoa Binh Hydropower  Plant, we keep driving to Mai Chau.
Arrive in Mai Chau, check in homestay and you will have a short walk or take bicycle to visit Lac Village and Pom Coong Village to see the daily life of local people.

Note:

• There are many local restaurants on the way to Mai Chau. If you want to have lunch in any places or anytime. You can say to your tour guide to arrange for you.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Ninh Binh (Overnight at Bungalow)Having breakfast at homestay, you will take bicycle to Van Village (Ban Van). After that, we come back to homestay for check out and then we get on car to Ninh Binh.

Having lunch at local restaurant in Ninh Binh.
After having lunch, you are visiting Trang An with a beautiful landscape and caves on sampan.
After visiting Trang An, you are going to Wonderland bungalow for check in then take bicycle to visit the villages in Tam Coc.

Day 3: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay ( Overnight on boat )

After having breakfast, we are driving to Halong bay (190 kms)
12:00 Arrive in Halong Bay. You are welcomed by crew team and transferred to the boat. Having lunch on boat.
After having lunch, you are joining some activities like kayaking, swimming or relaxing on sundeck to enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay.
Having dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi by private car

6:30AM -7:30AM: Breakfast is served on boat

7:30AM: You will visit Dark and Light cave area, a famous beautiful area of Lan Ha Bay with the pristine natural scenery, charming emerald sea. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery here on the bamboo boat (indigenous people rowing boat) to mingle with nature, get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life to feel the relaxed and most comfortable moments.

9:30AM: You return to the boat and check out your cabin then having lunch on boat.

12:00PM: Disembark and get on your car back to Hanoi.  Overnight in Hanoi

Day 5: Hanoi to Sapa by bus

Have breakfast at hotel.

7:00 AM: Shuttle bus will pick you up to Sapa (5 hour drives).

1:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa , Check in hotel and relax. 

In the afternoon, if the weather is good, you should go to visit Fansipan moutain by cable car or hike to visit dragon moutain to take photos.

Note:

There are many local restaurants in Sapa. If you would like to have lunch and dinner, you are easy to find out a restaurant there. I highly recommend you Little Sapa restaurant.

Day 6: Sapa sightseeing – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Ta Phin villages

8:00 AM: Our driver and tour guide will meet you and pick you up to go to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, the home of H’mong and Dzay ethnic minorities people. Here you will take a short trek to see the beautiful culture of local people in villages.

In the afternoon, you will go back to Sapa for lunch. After having lunch, you are going to visit the Ta Phin village – Home of Red Dao ethnic minority people. The Red Dao people are known for their expertise in herbal medicine as well as usage of plants from the land to treat many illnesses. 

4:30 PM: Go back to hotel and you are free to explore Sapa town.

After breaksfast, you can take morning bus or afternoon bus back to Hanoi (The time will be confirmed when you make a booking with us)

You will arrive in Hanoi. Tour ends at your hotel.
