Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok

Our English speaking tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer to hotel. Check-in hotel and Balance of the day at your leisure to relax or indulge in a variety of activities on resort grounds. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok
Day 2: Bangkok Cooking & Half Day Tours (Meals: B)

Morning visit to market with chef. We'll then have a five-hour cooking course at Bangkok's best cooking school. This afternoon we'll visit Bangkok's cultural highlights - Wat Pho, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Grand Palace. For dinner we'll enjoy Bangkok's best royal Thai cuisine. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok Cooking & Half Day Tours (Meals: B)

In the Thai cooking school we'll have a short lecture. Following a cooking demonstration, we'll cook and sample several dishes, in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. This afternoon we'll take a guided visit to Jim Thompson's house. Part museum, part park, Jim Thompson's house is an oasis of tranquility and beauty. Following a delicious dinner in a recreated historic Thai village, we'll be entertained by a traditional Thai show. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 4: Full Day Cooking at THAI HOUSE (B, L, D)

To day is spent at the Thai House where you could how to prepare and cook various delicious Thai dishes - The Thai House is a traditional Thai house built with a golden teakwood structure in an architectural style that was popular around the Ayutthaya region in central Thailand some 150 years ago. The distinctive wing-shaped roof structure is inspired by the temples. It is thought that these wings are a means of the inhabitants to reach heaven. Culinary courses featured at the Thai House are designed for participants with little time but who wish to attain the basic knowledge it takes to create menus for home entertainment, or simply to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. The cooking classes are held in an outdoor classroom in the midst of an orchard of mango, banana, papaya and coconut trees, and a kitchen garden of fresh herbs and spices used in the recipes. Lessons featuring brief lectures, the preparation of ingredients, hands-on cooking demonstrations and time for discussion and enjoying the fruits of success are conducted in an open air kitchen. Transfer you back to hotel and overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

Day 5: Bangkok - Golden Triangle (Meals: B, D)

Fly to Chiang Rai. Meet and greet upon arrival, transfer to hotel in the Golden Triangle. This afternoon take a boat tour on the Mai Kok River with a visit to the Lahu & Karen Villages and an elephant ride. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Cooking At Lanna Cooking School (Meals: B, L, D)

Enjoy cooking class at Anantara's Lanna Cooking School - The Lana Thai Cooking School at the Anantara offers our guests a choice of morning or afternoon courses hosted by the finest chefs in Thailand. Each lesson includes a delightful visit to a local market (morning course only) or a to a spice & herb garden, where you will learn all about the different vegetables, herbs, roots and spices being sold, and an extensive menu selection of Thai dishes. Your half-day culinary lesson includes:

  • Local market or herb garden visit to shop for today's ingredients.

  • Refreshing welcome drink upon return from market or herb garden

  • Recipe distribution & ingredients presentation by Thai Chef

  • Chef demonstration & create the dishes together

  • Sit down together and enjoy the self-prepared lunch

  • Certification presented by Executive Chef

Day 7: Hill Tribe Village & Golden Triangle Tour (Meals: B, L)
Today's tour begins with a scenic drive to the Akha and Yao hilltribes where natives continue to follow their ancient way of life. Next, visit the town of Mae Sai located on the Thai-Myanmar border followed by a visit to the Golden Triangle, the meeting point of the borders of Burma, Laos and Thailand. After lunch, stop at the ancient village of Chiang Saen located at the scenic borders of the Mekong River before returning to your hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Chiang Rai.

Day 8: Chiang Rai - Bangkok (Meals: B)

At leisure and transfer to the airport to take a short flight back to Bangkok. Connecting your flight onward. End of service.

Normally, the booking shall be confirmed within 24 working hours in low season (April to Oct), 48 hours in high season (from Oct to Mar). Once all service are booked and confirmed, sales staffs will get back to you with her/his final confirmation of the booking, trip dossier and instruct you next procedures of payment.

Standard Terms and Conditions of the travel contract  shall be sent to you at the time of booking confirmed. Deposit shall be required to secure the booking. Then, you will receive a voucher by email or visa fax containing all details about the tour.

Making sure your international flights to and from our destinations are booked and secured, your visa, personal and travel insurance are obtained. You will receive an email from us to require Settlement of Outstanding Balance at a specific due date. After making last payment, your trip will be absolutely secured with us.
