Day 1: Airport pick up - hotel transfer & golf

Pick up upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Enjoy a round of golf at Sofitel Phokeethra Golf Resort. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Golfing in Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel and this morning you will enjoy a round of golf at Angkor Golf Resort. This course is designed by golf legend Nick Faldo and the newest golf destination in South East Asia.

Day 3: Depart Siem Reap City

Airport transfer for departure onward. End of service.

Golf Course Overview

Royal Cambodia Phnom Penh Golf Club - This rather flat but challenging course lies approximately 10 kilometers from Phnom Penh and winds through numerous rice paddies and coconut palms. It is quite popular among local dignitaries and foreigners living in Cambodia. It offers a challenging round with numerous sand and water hazards and there is a large lake near the 3rd hole that definitely presents a problem. The course conditions are not up to the standards of the two championship courses of Siem Reap but rather on a par with courses opened up in Asia in the early 1980's.

Angkor Golf Resort - The world class Faldo designed Angkor Golf Resort is the newest golf course in Cambodia and will in time be proven to be the best. Nick Faldo himself, received a blessing from local monks and then opened the golf course in December 2007, his first golf course in Cambodia. The course is a fair test of golf for all players and requires thinking and strategy on every hole to score well. For example, the strategically placed bunkers and water hazards are tricky, but easily seen from each tee box. The greens have plenty of subtle undulations and they reward and encourage a variety of approach shots. The many tee box settings allow for players of all handicaps to enjoy the course.

Phokeethra Country Club - The Sofitel-managed Phokeethra Country Club, Angkor Wat, brings world class golf to Cambodia. The golf course was designed under the guidance of Bangkok Thailand based Weerayudt Phetbuasak, who also designed Suwan Country Club outside Bangkok. Sweeping fairways and generous greens give the Cambodia golf club a distinctive layout and feel. Natural lagoons and sand traps thread through the course to challenge golfers of all abilities. This is a challenging championship caliber layout featuring water on all but one hole and ends with the signature double water carry 18th-hole that offers a daunting final shot into a challenging island green. The Phokeethra Country Club's clubhouse features five-star amenities. It includes the Phokeethra Country Club Angkor Wat restaurant serving Western, Khmer and Asian favorites, comfortable locker and shower facilities, pro shop stocked with the latest branded golf gear, plus spa services to unwind after the round.

Siem Lake City Golf Club - This Sofitel-managed Country Club is the latest addition to golf in Siem Reap. Only opening up in late April 2009, we will reserve comments or review until after we play the course but if you are planning to be in Siem Reap in the next few months we would be pleased to offer you a discounted introductory rate at the Club.
